Online or in-person counselling: practical things to consider

Choosing online or in-person counselling involves considering what works for you as well as what is available. There is no need to assume that one format is the right choice for everyone.

Online sessions can make it easier to access support without travelling. You will need a space where you can speak privately, a suitable device and a reliable connection. It is worth thinking about whether you can give yourself a little time before and after the session, rather than moving straight from another commitment.

In-person sessions provide a separate appointment space. At North Cove, these take place at 39a Regent Street in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The contact page explains arrival arrangements and nearby parking, so you can plan your visit.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy online across the UK and in person in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We can discuss the practical arrangements and whether the service is suitable for you during a free 15-minute telephone consultation. That introductory call is by telephone, whichever session format you are considering.
